Starting last week, we rolled out a completely new integration with Microsoft Active Directory. It has been a highly requested feature for larger businesses and we’re happy that it’s live. With the integration, you’re able to automatically provision users and assign their roles.

And this list doesn’t even include all the products that aren’t in a startup phase anymore. Let’s take Microsoft, for example. Their Office 365 product alone offers 16 different tools for collaboration and building projects. While the choice and abundance might seem great at first, the reality is there’s a learning curve and time needed to onboard all employees. 

In large companies, this means hours wasted on onboarding hundreds of people to new tools and apps.   

A customer-centric solution – onboard users in a few clicks

As mentioned above, user management for any solution, including  Joan Desk Booking app and Joan mobile app can be challenging when it comes to larger businesses. Manually adding hundreds of users and updating their roles can be a daunting, time-consuming process. 

With the new integration in place, users can be updated in just a few clicks. What we’ve seen with our clients lately, is that they manage and store information about their users centrally – in the Active Directory. The same directory can now be synced in Joan Desk Booking app for automatic provisioning of users.
