Joan works with Google Workspace accounts and can also be connected to a free Google email account (Gmail), but a personal Gmail calendar is not the same as a Google Workspace room resource.
Joan is compatible with Google Workspace accounts. However, this is not the same as your free Google email account. Rather, Google Workspace is an account associated with a domain that uses Google Workspace (mail, calendar, docs, and sites) for messaging and collaboration.
You can connect Joan with a free Google email account, but please note that the personal calendar is not the same as the room resources email. You can read more in Google's help article on room resources.
To connect Joan with your free Google email account, please follow the instructions in Connect Joan with a free Google email account.
